Welcome to the official site of Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Raymond IL. We are located only 35 miles south of Springfield IL and are one of only two Independent Baptist Churches in Montgomery County. 
For 30 years, Blessed Hope has stood as a lighthouse for the community of Raymond, and have seen many souls walk down the isle and accept Jesus Christ as there personal Saviour. It is truly a church with a desire and a vision to see souls saved, and life's dedicated to the cause of Christ.
Blessed Hope Baptist Church was formed in 1980, and has had several Pastors over the years, many only staying a few weeks to a few months before moving on. They called our present pastor, James L Wagahoff, in May of 1986. For 24 years he has stood firm, teaching and preaching the unchanging gospel of Christ here at Blessed Hope.
We still hold firm to the doctrine of separation, from the clothes that we wear to the places we go, old fashion, God honoring music, and the precious King James Bible.
